Know a Business That's Fed Up With Its IT?
If you talk to business owners and keep hearing the same IT grumbles, send them our way. Our referral scheme is simple — if they become a REONEX client, we pay you a commission every month for as long as they stay with us.
If business owners tell you things, this is for you
You don't need to know anything about IT. You just need to be the sort of person people moan to.
Accountants and bookkeepers
You're in their systems every month. You see the mess first.
Solicitors
Client data, confidentiality, and the odd panic about an email that shouldn't have gone out.
Consultants and business coaches
You already tell them what to fix. IT is usually on the list somewhere.
Web and marketing agencies
You build the website, then get asked about the email, the laptops and the Wi‑Fi.
Commercial property and office fit‑out
Every move is a reason to sort the cabling, phones and broadband out properly.
Recruiters
You know who's growing, who's just taken new premises, and who's hiring their first office manager.
Other suppliers
Printers, security installers, telecoms resellers — anyone who gets asked about IT and doesn't do it.
Existing REONEX clients
If you already know what we're like, you're the best person to recommend us.
Anyone else, really
If you know a business that needs a hand with its IT, you count.
What a good referral looks like
We're at our best with businesses of roughly 6 to 25 people. Big enough that IT problems cost real money, small enough that hiring an IT person of their own makes no sense. That's the size we're built around.
- Somewhere between about 6 and 25 people using computers
- Based in Yorkshire, or happy to be looked after from here
- No IT person of their own — or one who's spread far too thin
- Something has brought it to a head: a move, a security scare, a provider who's gone quiet
- Or they've simply never had proper IT support and are winging it
Don't worry about qualifying them
You don't have to work out whether they're a fit, or what's wrong with their setup. Send us a name and a number. We'd much rather look at ten and tell you six aren't for us than miss the one that was.
What you can refer us for
Ongoing support is the bulk of what we do, but it's rarely the only thing a business needs sorting.
Day-to-day IT support
- Someone to ring when it stops working
- Laptops, desktops, servers and the rest of the hardware
- New starters, leavers and everything in between
Microsoft 365 and cloud
- Email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
- Licences — including working out which ones they don't need
- Sorting out who actually owns and controls their tenant
Security and backup
- Cyber security, done at a sensible scale
- Backup and disaster recovery that actually restores
- Multi‑factor authentication set up so people will use it
Phones, broadband and cabling
CCTV, door access and print
Projects, moves and websites
- Office moves and new premises
- Migrations off old servers, or away from another provider
- Websites and domains
Sign up once, then it’s four steps
Sign up and send it over
Fill the form in below and we’ll get you an account on the referral portal. After that, a company name and someone to speak to is plenty — you don’t need to know what’s wrong.
We have a proper conversation
We find out what they've got, what keeps going wrong and what it's costing them. Then a clear proposal with the price on it. If they don't need us, we say so.
They sign up, you get paid
If they come on board on a monthly support agreement, your commission starts — and it's paid every month for as long as they're with us, not once at the start.
You always know where it stands
Every referral you make is logged against your account — who you sent us, whether it turned into anything, and what you’re due. You won’t have to chase us for an answer.
What you get paid
It's a share of what the client pays us each month, and it keeps coming as long as they stay. No cap, no expiry, nothing to renew.
The rate
10%
of the monthly managed support fee, paid every month for as long as the business stays a REONEX client.
- Excluded from the calculation: software licences, hardware and one-off project work
- Starts: the first full month the new client pays us
- Paid: quarterly, by bank transfer — or credited against your own REONEX invoice if you'd rather
A worked example
A 15-person business on a monthly support agreement at £20 per user comes to £300 a month.
At 10%, that's £30 a month to you. Every month. Not once.
Refer three or four businesses over a year and it adds up to a useful bit of income for something you were going to mention anyway.
Why you can put your name to it
When you recommend someone, you're lending them your reputation. If they get messed about, it's you who hears about it — not us. So here's what we'd want you to know first.
We don't sell people things they don't need
If a business asks us for a big security package and what they actually need is multi‑factor authentication turned on properly and a tidy‑up, we tell them that. It earns us less. We still say it.
We answer the phone
No sitting in a queue waiting for a stranger to read a script. They get people who already know their setup and can just get on with it.
We explain things in English
Nobody gets made to feel daft for not knowing what a tenant is. If something technical matters, we explain why it matters to their business and leave the acronyms out of it.
We'll say when it isn't for us
Too big, too specialist, or genuinely better served by somebody else? We'll tell you, and point them at whoever can help. Taking on work we can't do properly does nobody any favours.
Nobody gets hounded
One conversation, a straight proposal, then it's up to them. Your contact isn't going to be ringing you up asking you to make us stop.
No long tie‑ins
Rolling monthly with 30 days' notice, unless something specific has been agreed. If we stop being any good they can walk — which is a fairly strong incentive for us not to stop being any good.
